welcoming all trans, non binary and gender non-conforming bodies. Cis, too.

ABOUT

No weighing of anyone, no before/after photos, no weight loss challenges of any kind.

No Judgment.

If you've ever felt uncomfortable in a gym, if you've ever said "I'd go but..." then No Judgment Fitness was designed for you. I explicitly wanted to make a place where trans, non binary and gender non conforming people could feel safe but if you’re a cis straight woman who supports trans rights and BIPOC and queer people, welcome - I am cis myself (just super gay). We offer personal training and small group classes capped at six people.

When I say we I mean I do. Hi! I'm Sophia (she/her). I'm 37, quite British and the opposite of your typical personal trainer: I'm in this for the donuts. Mmm...donuts. I work out so I can do more, not be less. Who wants to be less?!

I'm a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and have a postgrad in Health & Social Care with a focus on inclusive education. I’ve had conditioning training from Olympic coaches, trained 30 hours a week when I was a D1 soccer player (well, the British equivalent) and I have always hated gyms. At best there are dodgy sign up fees or memberships you can’t get out of (we have no sign up fees and no memberships). At worst, gyms make a lot of us feel shit about ourselves and they often feel unsafe. I haven't been continuously fit my whole life. I haven't always felt great in my body. I've experienced how hard all this is to go through, and how common cycling out of fitness is.

If any of this sounds familiar, someone made a gym for you. It was me. This gym.

 GYM RULES

  1. Any negativity towards anyone else’s body/gender/sexuality/identity will result in immediate removal. No refunds, no re-entry.

  2. Please do not take photos of anyone in the facility without their express request. In general, no cameras or recording equipment.

  3. If in the facility with other people, please avoid talk of diets or intentional food restricting as these may be triggering. I am always available for questions and discussions, let’s just ensure we’re not affecting anyone else.

In short: be a good human! I reserve the right to deny entry to anyone having a negative impact on our community members. If entry is denied for safety reasons (mental or physical) there will be no refunds, any remaining classes/sessions will be donated to low income members of the community.
